SUFFOCATION Pulls Out Of DEATH FEAST OPEN AIR, UNLEASHED Steps In

New York death metallers SUFFOCATION have cancelled their appearance at the 2008 edition of the Death Feast Open Air festival, set to take place June 12-14, 2008 in Hünxe, Germany.

Commented the band: "SUFFOCATION are trully sorry to announce that at the end we will not be able to participate on the Death Fest Open Air due to some personal obstacles and working duties. We had had several other dates right before the confirmation but it had to be iced as well because SUFFOCATION are leaving Europe right after the NAPALM DEATH tour. We hope to re-schedule the date for the next festival volume or we might will see each other earlier. Thanks for the understanding."

The new headliner on June 13 will be the Swedish death metal legends UNLEASHED.

In other news, BRODEQUIN has been forced to pull out of the festival for "personal reasons." Replacing them is CEPHALOTRIPSY.
